First time at track...12.5@116
I have a 98 A4 that I owned for two weeks before going to the track. The car has over 130,000 on the clock. When I went to the track it had:
SLP lid
Flowtech long tubes
3:73's
LS6 intake
80 shot dry (Wanted a bigger shot but that was the biggest I could get right away)
It was lowered when I bought it also. This is hurting a lot since there is almost no weight transfer (anybody wan to trade for a stock suspension?)
The best pass of the night was:
2.1 - 60ft
5.42 - 330
8.19 - 1/8 et
88.77 - 1/8 mph
12.51 - 1/4 et
115.7 - 1/4 mph
I was not spraying in first due to traction. I tried launching easy to keep wheel spin down. That worked but it also made the car slower. It was quickest and fastest when I just let it spin through first gear. It also would not shift right. I have to let off for it to shift at full throttle or it will hit the rev limiter ( even when letting off it still hits the limiter most of the time). I think it has mid 11's in it with just getting the traction issue solved, quicker if I fix the shifting problem also. I just need to find out if the shifting problem is due to the stock tune or inadequate line pressure.
I think it has 10's all over it when I put the stall, stg 2.5 317's, and trex cam in. Once I get that installed and tuned I will be upping the shot to a 150 shot.
