does my setup have more in it?
Car is a 96 mustang with ls1 and mods in sig. Car weighs 3122 lbs with me in it and 3/8 tank...
Runs were in South Texas heat.
Best run has been a 12.08 @ 111 1.68 60ft
My average is 12.2X's @111 with high 1.6X's 60fts
I feel it should be running high 11's at my race weight. I do know the car is spinning throughout 1st gear even with a good burnout.
Car has a half *** mail order tune with torque management on and 28* timing
Its crossing the traps at about 5500 rpm according to online calculators...(my tach is not accurate)
Suspension includes:
Front Team Z K,upr a arms, MMR coilovers, 70/30 Lakewoods
lca's, uca's, sway bar, kyb 8-ways

I think it has a lot more in it considering the car is probably 500 pounds lighter than a F-Body and has decent suspension parts. However, similar to Rpayne my car ran those times full weight with a converter and gears. The Texas heat might be working against you and the mail order tune might be causing problems. Is the car an auto or manual? What tires are you using? Are your upper control arms adjustable? Pinion angle? I think if you get it to stop spinning that will solve your problems. On the other hand, I can't believe it's spinning through first and still cutting in the 1.6's.
