first time this years
first time this years hi, I go to the track last week to test my new modification on my LQ4. here is my setup.
lq4 4.030 iron block
diamond piston flat top with valve relief
ls3 heads milled .10
comp.cam lsr cam,235 int./251 exh,0.621 int./0.624 exh. 113 lsa (part num. 5447011)
hawks headers 1.75/3.0, 3.5 single exaust.
11:1 CR
transmission 700r full manual reverse
7.5 oem diff with locker(need to change 9in soon)
3.42 final gear
stall 3600
850 cfm holley DP 4150
street tire
i run fisrt pass 13.25@ 116 mph(60' 2,34),and the carb run verry lean (afr 13.9-14.3)
second pass(I enriched my carb)12.77@ 117 mph(60' 2.25)and the mixture is still lean (13.5-13.7)
the last pass I ran out of temp to make fine tuning, i did 12,10@119 mph
(60' 1.96)and the mixture is a little lean( 13.2-13.6)
I return this weekend to finish my fine tuning.
Need a 9'' to down my 60' time on DR, coming soon.
