New P.B. everytime
After running all last year making 40+ passes I finally had a day of nothing but 12. second runs
New for 2014 is a set of Nitto 555's
run 1 12.93@108.59 1.98 60'
run 2 12.87@107.88 1.93 60'
run 3 12.92 @107.33 1.94 60'
run 4 12.95 @108.76 1.97 60'
run 5 12.81 @ 108.03 1.90 60'
run 6 12.91@107.77 1.92 60'
car was real consistent and being able to launch harder with DR's helps alot
was pretty disapointed on the 60 foot times. if figured I could pull 1.8x
I think car has a 12.7x in it if I can figure out how to launch it harder and get 60's down.
Best E.T. 12.81 best MPH 108.76 best 60' 1.90
If i just unbolt one side will it count and help make a diffrence in the weight transfer? Will the sway bar move and bang around?
will it damage the links if it moves around?
I just want to unbolt when i go racing
I have 3.23s and a 3400 converter and I am usually 1.73-1.75 on 60 foot, and I know I have less power than you do.
But for reference, my car ran about the same E/T but at 104 with a 1.83 60. On my best 1/8 pass I cut a 1.77 to get to a 8.17. It had a 12.8 in it at only 104, so it shows how much a converter would help. This was also on 555rs.
What tire psi are you running, only go as low as you have to, any lower and you're losing mph on the big end. I was on roughly 15, but I could've ran near or at 20. People have said they hook better on higher psi's too, so doesn't hurt for some free mph.
Other than that you've good the power to be deep in the 12s, you just need a 60 to get you there. I'd go with a 4000 stall and don't look back, preferably a 10.5" unit, from what I was told the bigger the stall the tighter it'll be on the street. You can have a 4000 10.5" and a 4000 8" and I bet they'd drive different.
Looking at a Edge 3400 converter.
Why87 Im down in the Nati..
