Default Finally! - 12.85 @ 111

Hey guys,

Got a few runs in yesterday, nice cool day @ 400' DA...finally hit 12's!

Best run= 12.85 @ 111, 2.02 60'
Average run= 12.9 @ 111, 2.0X 60'

Previously could only manage 13.1 @ 109 with a higher DA and 2.17 60'.

Since installed a SSRA (AC version), BMR panhard, also TOYO drag radials seem to have gotten much stickier with a little wear, was hooking a lot better than when new (consistent 2.0 60' vs 2.1-2.2), but as a result, car bogged a little off the line most runs.

Trap speed says I should be lower 12's, but go easy on me, it's a 6 speed on the stock 10-bolt

Here's a view from the gopro:

Cheers,
Alex

Before SSRA, ran 109mph in a little higher DA...you can definately feel it in the top end...I'd say it's worth a 1-2mph gain...I could see it being more beneficial once I go H/C/I

Nice! I currently have the K&N FIPK but I ordered the 104mm lid and I plan on getting the CHRS 1313 or the FTRA.

Nice, either one should work good. I went with SSRA because it's plastic, won't heat soak

I'm lowered about 1 inch all around, and the mouth only sticks out about 2 inches below the front bumper/fascia, sits higher than the air dam...pretty good ground clearance, just have to be extra careful around curbs

Good point lol. Next season I plan on buying an extra filter just for track use. Gotta squeeze every little bit you can!

At NED? I run 12.4's in my bolt on LT1. Sounds like it would be some fun racing.
