good job sneaking in with that terrible DA.

nice 60 foot , you gained under 20mph in the 2nd half , assuming that's because of how high the da was ?

Is that uncommon? This is the only 1/4 mile I've ran on. The auto trans is having some shifting hesitation at the 2-3 shift that might be hurting my trap.

theres a couple things you can do to help the 2/3 shift . One is to leave the trans in OD and let it shift itself , less fluid is available to make shifts when not in OD. The other is to slightly overfill the trans fluid by 1/2 quart or so - it is a fluid starvation issue. Do both the next time your at the track.

I would expect a 12 second car to pick up 21-24 mph on the top half of the track but I am used to racing with da within a thousand either way of sea level.

I had it in OD. I thought I had it over filled but I will play with that a little more and test that shift on the interstate. Track is 2 hours away.

The guy in the other lane was a ls1 trans am and he gained 25 mph in the 2nd 1/8. So im guessing my shift hurt. He was on spray but after his start I doubt he used it. I'll look at my old slips and see if I have a better increase on any of them where the shift wasn't as bad.
