Default 12.4 @ 112.5...No Headers!

Ran again tonight...Another new best.

All car has is 4.10 gear, Air Lid, Loudmouth, and Spec Stage 3.

Best run of night

60': 1.923
1/8: 8.001 @ 89.01
1/4: 12.46 @ 112.55

Car weighed 3475 w/ me and few Misc. things. and 3260 w/o me. That seems light to me b/c the car has Leather, All Power, T-Tops, and so on...

Damn I need to hurry up and get headers and try for a 11.9.

I am 3290 w/o me in the car and I also have leather.

Great times though, get those headers in!!!

those are kick *** times
i dont see tomany people running those times with what you have done

i have gotten around the same times with my car
lid, loudmouth, nitto, race wieght 3600, stock slipin clutch, stock 3.42
7.98 @ 89.1
12.38 @ 112 with a 1.85 60 ft
also have gotten
8.02 @ 89.82
12.40 @ 112.2 with a 1.96 60ft

i wish i would have done the headers and the pulley and clutch and gone 11.8s but i went the crazy route H/C and car is out of commision right now

what tires you using and what rpm you launching?

was your car tuned or not sae correct because those numbers are very very high for just a lid and catback not to mention 410s

Thanks Guys, Looks like y'all are running some Kickass times also!

ONGRNGO: Was that weight before or after the weight reduction? I want to do some reduction to mine and see if I can get it lower. Right now it's pretty much stock weight save for a few supsension things and Grand Sport wheels.

Jerflash: Those times are AMAZING w/o a gear or headers! Thats badass. I was launching around 2500-3000 and slipping the clutch out until about half way and then letting it out quickly. Also car isn't tuned and that is SAE Corrected. It was done before the 4.10 though. The car was dynoed at Hypertech so the numbers are good, I was surprised myself! Hopefully you'll get your car back soon, I have a few buddies with cams or heads/cam and they run swwweeettt.

I have took out the spare and jack, front sway bar, windshield washer res, all the emmisions stuff including the air pump, and rear seat. And of course the weight difference in the headers compared to the manifolds and the lighter exhaust system. That weight is with the heavy ZR1 wheels, they weigh about 50lbs a piece I need bogarts . Oh and I only had a 1/4 tank of gas in the car. My race weight with me in the car is 3450. Sorry I don't know the before weight, I got bored one day and started removing things.

That is some insane power, I don't have the gears, but a tune w/LT's and a Spec 3x and I just hit the 12's and could only muster 329RWHP (corrected). Nice job - your car is DEFINATELY a FACTOY FREAK.

i took out the spare and jack and the front swaybar but the car still wieghs 3420 with out me in it and 3600 with me in it

Sorry I missed it Kenny--- Had to work. I'm going to try to run my car before the track closes. I can't believe your car is almost in the 11's . What headers are you going to get and are you still going to use the loudmouth??

I think I'm going to get the Kooks or QTP If I have the funds...If not I will get Pacesetters. But either way I am going to go true duals. Dr. Gas X-Pipe, into 2 Borla XR-1's.

Mark, I was looking your sig, Is that the red RX-7? If so he was talking mad **** still about your car the other night. He still only ran a 13.4 w/ a 2.0 60' on MT Drag Radials. The cars not to bad but if he has that much money into that car then it is. LOL.

You will love the True duals, they sound awsome I run bullets on mine so it is really loud but you cannot beat the sound!

the best i managed was 12.78 @ 109.6 with a 1.98 60'. my mods are bfg's, air lid, cat back and a diablosport tune. before the tune my best time was 12.82 @ 107.5 with a 1.89 60'. before the tune i dynoed 327hp and 347ft-lbs, but since i ran 107mph and then tuned it and ran almost 110 im guessing i picked up about 20 rwhp, but i want to get to a dyno with the tune to see for sure. i know i can get more if i can get my 60' back down and i also happen to live in georgia, so i have to deal with heat and humidity and crappy tracks. hopefully i can get to a good track like englishtown or atco.
