Just for comparison i ran 12.50 on a 1.81 60 ft at 112.1 mph

Given 60 id say that would be a 12.60 at 111.2 mph. Your 60 is slightly slower so id say then those numbers add up reasonably. Damn racing in that DA has to suck it! Doesit feel a bad as the DA indicates? I think the worst air Ive ever been in was 2800 positive!

Thsoe tires are a bit tall for that setup i bet your going thru the trap pretty low rpm, thats a 27 inch tire and 3.42s

well, i usually don't get out of third so the tire selection might be a bit tall ...

I'm gonna try out the ET Street Radials as soon as these wear out. I'm hoping that will help the traps as well as the 60'. In fact, i never get out of 3rd, so rpm is pretty high.

As you see above, the actual altitude is over 5000 feet. so this air feel pretty good. in the summer, the DA is well over 8000 feet!!!

Next month we'll have just about perfect air and the DA will be right around 5000 feet. I'm looking forward to that and hope to hit a 12.5x@112 ...

Thanks for the input... i just wanted to see if the slip all added up.

yeah, it gets pretty bad. Like almost 9000ft in the middle of summer. When I go back home to El Paso, 4000ft elev., the car feels like a different animal. Hell I work in Santa Fe, elevation out there is 7000ft, coming back to Albq. feels "good" .

We have tossed around the idea of making a trip out to San Antonio to see what we'll run. The next best thing is Roswell, supposedly track hooks really well and DA out there is 3800 ft or so.

Definitly more in it Gabe! Time to start taking some weight off the front and shortbelt.

Thats a really good ET considering the altitude. I thought I had it bad. My tracks are Pittsburgh Raceway Park 1,250' - Thompson Drag Raceway 1,400' and the best is Norwak at 850' but It's too far of a trip to race at Norwalk on a regular basis.

Good luck.
