In the 12's
Ok, so I got into the 12's a while ago, but since I just joined... I guess I can jump in here!
What it took to get in the 12's...
I was running SLP Airlid, SLP Loudmouth Catback, no backseats, battery relocated to spare tirewell, 18's all around, with Goodyear F1's at 18 psi(still sucking on the launch) & one DAMN good reaction time if i may say so myself...
This was at Memphis Intl Motorsports park... mildly warm summer night, low humidity... Also, before headers and before nitrous... No 1/4 runs since headers and juice since I am back up in Maine where we have an 1/8 mile track about 25 miles away and a 1/4 mile about 80 miles away... next year after my Moser 12 bolt is installed I will venture out again to the 1/4 mile...
Even so, with headers and 80 shot I pulled a 7.9 in the 1/8 with a 1.9 60'...
All this on 285/35 ZR18's
