I recently purchased a car from my brother 2bseen. It is an 01 10th anniversay Firehawk with a 382 Lunati Stroker in it. It ran a 7.7@94.58 at huntsville a couple of weeks ago on a good track but with me driving granny style . We went to montgomery last sunday and they canceled their TNT after we got there. They let us run on one lane with no track prep and it was about 40 degrees. I was new to the sport and let gomer which built the car run it. He ran a 12.60@120.08 a 60' of 2.154 and a 1/8@92.39 on the first run and a 12.78@91.3 a 60' of 2.10 and an 1/8 of 8.072. He almost lost it after the 1/8 and let out of it. He brouht it back and said that it was too dangerious to do this. Anyway i hope to get a good time soom maybe in the mid 11's.
Congrats brother on your 12.21. Your truck is Fast

When you spin the tires past the 1/8 mark and smokes is coming off the tires, you know it is time to go home. The hawk will run 11.4s or 11.5s easy. You need some slicks now.
