After six months of waiting...
...I'm finally in the twelves. I would like my title changed please.
I went to the local test and tune tonight and ran four 12 second timeslips:
12.789 @ 111.53 1/8mi 8.338 @86.99 2.085 60'
12.839 @ 110.89 1/8mi 8.372 @86.93 2.129 60'
12.925 @ 110.40 1/8mi 8.439 @86.64 2.168 60'
12.926 @ 110.85 1/8mi 8.450 @86.69 2.174 60'
Car is a 2000 Z-28, all options, with an A4. Mods are as follows:
FRA - Mildly ported throttle body (self done) - K&N Filter - Pacesetter Race LT's - !EGR - !AIR - !CATS - !Pass Seat - !Rear Seats - !Spare and Jack - !Front Swaybar - TSP True Duals - 160* Thermo - Precision 3.73 gears - Custom Shift Kit built by Mike at ATCO Transmission - Nitto DR's - Dyno Tune by gomer - Prothane Motor Mounts - NGK TR-55's
I think that the car has a lot left in it. I just need to learn to launch it on this new set-up. I finally got the hang of burning down the Nittos. They try to grab a lil more than I'm used to. I'm still working on my launches. I think that 1.8x 60's can be hit with this combo. I got to the track a lil late, and the VHT had already worn off. The best run was my first one (12.789). It all went downhill after that. I'm glad that my trap speeds are consistent, I just wish that I could get my ET's that way. *sigh* I guess that I just need to practice. I'm not gonna even bother taking the seats and all out next time, or take off the swaybar. I just don't see it making that much of a difference.
Anyhow, I hope that sometime soon I can hit a 12.5 or so.
If Coach or anyone needs verification to change my title, you'll have to pm me a fax number to send the slip to, I don't have a scanner available to me.

Thanks Vann and Tom.
Vann: The end of this year, soon as I pay the car off, I'm going in with TCI SSF3500 and probably either the F14 or TSP 233/239 cam. I hope I can see 11's with that combo. I'm keeping this motor stock bottom end and stock heads. I've got a forged 408 planned as soon as I can get the funds up.
Hopefully you'll be hitting 10's soon yourself. Good luck.
