First time at GIR with the M6
First run:
Heated the tires up a little bit, left at 4500. I couldn't shift into 2nd or 3rd without it grinding.
60'- 1.866
330- 5.594
1/8- 8.729
MPH- 78.82
1000- 11.283
1/4- 13.371
MPH- 109.30
Second run:
Same as first except I left at 5000. Same problem with shifting.
60'- 1.856
330- 5.521
1/8- 8.397
MPH- 85.17
1000- 10.933
1/4- 13.016
MPH- 109.22
Third run: Heat the tires up pretty good, launched at 52-5300 RPMs. It hooked like a ****, slammed it into 2nd and my hand slipped off the stick. It went into 3rd and 4th easily this time around.
60'- 1.772
330- 5.240
1/8- 8.052
MPH- 85.62
1000- 10.447
1/4- 12.442
MPH- 113.61
Now, I need to learn how to powershift properly and I'll be in the 11's. There is a ton left in this car. Not too shabby, considering my LTrims are around plus 25, had a SES light, and still no tune.
If I did the calculations right this is my corrected times.
Temp(*F): 78
Humidity(%): 96
Track Alt.(ft.): 405
Pressure(in.): 29.90
ET: 12.44
Trap Speed(mph): 113.61
Uncorrected 12.44 @ 113.61
Corrected 12.14 @ 116.36
Not too bad for:
- TEA Stage II 6.0L heads, 2.02/1.55 valves
- MTI B1 cam, 221/221 .558/.558 114 LSA
- FLP Long Tube headers race pipes
- cutout
- ASP crank pulley
- Direct Flow lid
- IRS 75 mm MAF ends
- FAST 90 Intake
- Nick Williams 90 TB
- 160 degree thermostat
- 35mm solid front sway bar
- Custom adj. LCAs
- BMR Adj. PHR
- BMR tubular subframe connectors
- RAM metalic clutch
- Moser 12 bolt 3.90 gears
- DMS lowering springs
- Spohn TA
- Chromoly DS
- PRO5.0 Shifter
So I'll be hitting GIR a little more now.
