still 12s uggh
Ran 12.4s @ 110-111 mph last year with lt headers and lsx intake as the only major mods.
rwhp was 355 Speed Inc
rwtq was 365
raceweight was 3650
60ft = 1.8x
installed TR stage 2 5.3l heads, TR reverse split cam, LSX 90mm intake, Nick Williams 90mm throttle body, roller rockers, Moser 12 bolt, 411s, BMR CARBs and CAs, Spohn TA, SFCs, BMR STB
rwhp = 429 Exotic Performance Plus
(possibly more, curve continued to rise with no sign of slowing down until they stopped at 6k, cam supposedly good till 6800, currently shifting at 6500)
rwtq = 399
60ft = 1.8x
1/4 = 12.1x @ 116.xx mph
raceweight = 3830
I expected a little weight gain, but 180lbs? ouch! time to go on a diet. The car is now so consistent. I went to the track with 87 degrees, high humidity and low air pressure. There were thunderstorms everywhere. The car ran 12.1x @ 116 mph on every run but one which was a 12.23 @ 115.99 mph. I went back to the track with 74 degrees, low humidity and 30.12 on the barometer. The car ran 12.1x @ 116.xx on every run. I unhooked the Magnaflow exhaust, 12.1X @ 116.xx on every run. (good exhaust system I guess)
My goal was to hit 120 mph or a little more in the 1/4 and work on my ets from there. Don't want to strip too much out of the car, so I will be adding a Z06 MAF this year, a Mezier water pump and those really expensive MSD coils as well as the tubular K member and control arm package next year. Hopefully this will get me closer to my goal.
. I guess I'll have to spend more money since I don't really want to gut the car.Good numbers on your btw, what a 60ft!
