I have a smaller duration cam N/A stock head M6 that's gone high 11's trapped 116-117 with my Man driving and my best last year on a 1.81 60' and drag radials in the sig.

Depends on what kind of tire you are using an what 60's you are getting? Taking some weight off with lighter wheels (skinnies) helps losing about 80 lbs of rotating mass. You could easily go 11's as it is with that 3500 stall and a good 1.5-1.6 60'

Heads are going on shortly, I now have another set of track wheels (Convo Pros on Mickey Thompsons seeking some 1.6 shorts) As long as my car stays above the 11.50 cage rule I am not sticking a roll cage in this car.

Dang! That is a really good 60' time! Seems like you should be running 11s though, have you ran this time in the cooler weather??

My 60' are 1.73s, my new best in about 80* weather. Yeah, I do need to work on the weight thing, rip my back seats out, seat belts, and get some Weld Draglights. I am porting my own heads CNC if possible.

You could go 11's no with that cam, you just need to get the 60' down better or race in cool weather when the DA is lower.

Nothing wrong with low 12's at all I've been doing this for a while just decided this was the year for Stage II heads and a driveshaft because I am moving onto very sticky tires and my car dead hooks on drag radials 1.74-1.78 area on a well prepped track so 1.6's will be cake on the Mickey T's

My mods. are close to yours. Bring the 60ft to a 1.6 and you will have it. I have stock sup. except for DMS springs and cut 1.6's on MTDR's. ARGGG, Your in TEXAS that alone should be worth 2tenths.

Yeah, I'da thought to be in the 11s by now. Car is a little heavy, 3630 race weight, maybe that's slowing me. I've also spent most of this year tuning in on the correct suspension setup, burnout & launch to work with the ET Streets that I installed in June. The track I usually run at (75&80) is said to be 1 to 2 tenths slower than the best racks in the area so there might be a high 11 sec pass in it. I've never run as good at the "quick" tracks as I do at the slow track, probably familiarity has something to do with it. The 12.17 & the 1.61 are recent new bests on a cool day just after our area got 7 inches of rain. Track was real green but shaped up thru the day as more rubber got laid down.

Went to the track last weekend and ran a 1.73 60' time! (7.77 in 1/8) A good improvement from my previous numbers. The weather is starting to kick butt here, 70-80s in the evening so maybe I will hit my time soon! My goal with this car is to run low 11s, which I know is possible NA. I am so excited the car and I work so well together!!
