Barely Made It ... Well, my goal has been to get my lightly modded car into the 12's this year. My previous best was 13.05 on a warm and humid spring day, so I was waiting for some cooler weather ... today it was about 75* for my first run, but not humid, so I squeaked by at 12.98. DA here in the quarter mile high city was 2700-2900. For me, it's all about air and easing the car out just right so the 245 Nittos don't break loose. Not dramatic, but I got it done.

I'm on 16x8's and you have 17x9.5's, so you can get a bigger tread patch. And since you're running the stock converter, you could probably get them to hook. My 3000 stall broils the 245's badly unless I ease it out of hole. For street/strip, I'd recommend them, but for track only, I'd get a pair MT drag radials.

Yeah, I didn't read through your sig carefully ... I would go MT drag radials if you have a high STR on that converter.
