i have the mods in my sig and everyone i talk to says i should be running 12's w/ what i have , they all say like very high 12.8's or 12.9's but they seem to agreee thats where i "should" be. any ideas why i am not there? here are the times from my best run last night in memphis tn w/ 52* outside
.170 r/t 2.003 60ft 1/4 13.282 1/4 mph 104.14
track prep was pretty good i know w/ DR id be in 12's for sure if i could cut some 1.8 or better 60's
but alot of the cars around here are traping higher rpms w/ slower times and less bolt ons in the same weather conditions ???

With MAF swap, did you do any AFR readout to see where you are?

I'm not a hugh fan of swapping MAF with basically stock motor, chances are it will hurt the performance moreso than aiding it.

Also, I didn't see TC on your mod list. For an A4, you really do need TC in order to get into 12s with your mods providing your engine is running well.

i havent scrapped together the funds yet for the gears and TC
they are my next 2 mods after i do my pacesetters lth n 3 ory and my fast 78.
i do not have any tuning software to get a afr measurement all i have right now is go to the track run and adjust, well i did til last night it was the last test and tune of the year.
the car seems to run strong but im not trapping higher speeds is what im conserned about. when i bought my car a friend of mine bought one almost identical, his has a lid and cutout only his car has the 2.73 gears where mines the 3.23
he has no suspension mods either
hes running slower 60fts like a 2.2 but trapping 108 in the 1/4 at 13.6 ???
ive seen very similar cars running about the same or better then mine w/ less parts less gear and higher 60fts trappin 106 - 108 where im running faster at lower trap speed of 104

Put stock maf back on. Get either TC or LTs/ORY and you'll be high 12's. Get both and you will see closer to low 12's.

i got the maf for 20 bucks so taking it back off i dont see much harm in i guess, do you really think i will run better w/ the stock maf?

Well that all depends on how your after market MAF was affecting your AFR. And without having it read, we really don't know. There is only one way to find out. Run with stock MAF and see what happens.

i just did a search on here about the slp maf and it gave alot of good points.
tracks closed for test and tune til febuary,last night was the last night for this year.
i was really hoping for 13.0 or mabey a 12.9 befor the season was over too.
it feels strong and is running good now, when i switched the maf's befor i noticed no difference , which is typical for swaping maf sensors.
