12s wanting 11s...

Got the GTO into the low 12s. Basically stock Ls2 with a 125 shot (crank) of nitrous. Time slips are below...I was car #9 running right lane on both slips.

I hope to do that when the track re-opens. Those two runs were made at night and the track was pretty slick. Here in the South, the dewpoint makes it tough once the sun goes down in cooler Fall weather.

If you are still running stock tires, I don't think you could improve enough of 60' time to get into 11s. Even if you ran 1.85 (which is unheard of for GTOs with 245 tires), you'd still be in 12 flat range. That said, DRs will definitely get you into 11s.

Yup, you have the power to get into 11s for sure. My 03 Z06 ran 12.13@117.7 with 1.94 60' time with street radials, and your times are nearly identical to my numbers.

lol...those slips I posted were only spraying 2nd & 3rd. My car is an A4 with stock converter and it still spun all the way through 1st. Like I said, the track was really slippery that night...you could see it shining from the dew. Some guy in a Fox bodied Mustang lost traction on the big end and went through the traps backward and still clocked about 110mph.
