04 Gto 12.83 @ 109.88
04 Gto 12.83 @ 109.88 A couple of weeks ago I got my 04 M6 GTO to run a best of 12.83 at 109.88 with a 1.83 short time. The car is a stock longblock. All mods are as follows:
JHP MAF pipe/stock airbox with 3 hole mod (no filter at track)
Home ported throttle body/coolant bypass
IAT resistor
NGK TR55
Stainless Works 1 3/4 headers w/o cats
Flowmaster 2 1/2 inch exhaust
3.91 gears
Nitto 245/45/17 DRs on stock rims
Weld Prostar frontrunners
B&M shifter
Stock shift light turned on
Full weight with no spare tire/no jack and 1/2 - 3/4 tank of gas
Temp was in the low 60's at Red River Raceway just north of Shreveport, La
Since then, I have finished my NX 150 wet install and hope to dip into the 11's next trip to the track. I also have a G5x3 on 114 sitting on the shelf and a set of Dart 225s on order. Hope to get around to installing these in a couple of months!

Ditto Smitty! I wish we lived closer...would be fun to have some quick goats at the track! Hopefully next year GTOBOSS from the GTO forum will be in the 12's with his stock 05 M6, cause he was damned close last time I was there!
As far as where I shift...I usually don't watch the tach very much while going down the track. Shift light is set at 5800...I finally get around to shifting around 6000...give or take a little.
