Hit 12 today for the first time ...actually this is the first time to the track since my H/C/Fast install.
Although I set a personal best of 12.817 at 110.24 mph I now know how important getting a good 60 is because there is major run for improvement for me there. I was basically at 2.1 all day long. Driver + Brand new Nittos + stock converter I'm guessing were a major contributor to this.
My best times came in 3rd with TC off and going from a normal idle. Anytime I raised the rpms on launch I got some tire spin and lost a few tenths. Live and learn I guess...overall not bad for the first time at the track with my new mods. Now I just need to learn to get these DRs heated more and maybe look into a converter to get closer to 11.

Your car is deffinatly capable of more I would say atleast an 11sec car. With some more seat time you deffinatly will go faster. You might want to invest in a line lock if you dont already have one. You deffinatly need a stall with a cam like that.

Can't wait to see it run with a new TC. The stock one is killing you. My previous best was 13.3. Added a TC and dropped half a second. Car is hitting the limiter between shifts and needs a tune. Gains will be WAY more for your beast.

Even though your car is heavy, if I HAD to drive a GTO (lol) I'd definately want it to look like yours my friend. Your car looks awesome, get those emblems on the hood! And yes, my R/T's sucked. Just see in this video where the GTO really beat me off the line.
