Hmmm, Hes running 108 with cam.....im running 109 with and a little more...we both have Fuddle 3600's....and are running lower traps than we should. Maybe somethin to look at. I have had guys say that my convertor may be my problem trapping. but it pulls damn hard...who knows. But et's are what im looking for so ill see what happens. The patriot's and powerbond pulley go on this weekend and a tune. Ill see how i trap then.

Y'know, I never really thought of that. We're running the exact same verter and almost trapping the same. =/ I could honestly care less what I trap at, even though it feels like it should be trapping higher. It pulls way harder than before the cam, but I dunno. But as you said, if I can bring down my ET, I'll have no problems running low 12's at 108-110.

What kind of numbers did you make when you dynoed Arch (PM me if you dont want public).....I made 375/348 locked cam only, (before heads and pulley in sig)but was coming unlocked at bout 6K and my 17x11 TTII's, and 3.73's hurt my numbers so may have made a few more horses. Which i have seen 330-350 rwhp cars trap 111-113 A4...but with 3.23's. I know the gears alone 3.73-3.23 cant be 3-4 mph off. I really think its my convertor not pulling on the big end. But like you, ET is what im after so screw my traps for now

i have a fuddle converter that has a larger stall speed than both of yours, look at my time in sig. i have the cheapo $400 one, 4k stall. i think your problems are elsewhere...

my motor mods:

headers + x and duals dumped @ axle
ls6 intake
lid
STOCK engine tune.

i also have 373 gears..i seriously doubt the converter is your problem, guys.

i ran a 12.37 on a 1.81 60' and only a 109 trap speed. that tells me that this converter is working very well. i feel that the low 1/4 trap is associated with my tune, as it is stock...i trap a little over 88 in the 1/8 mile. we'll see because i am getting tuned here shortly.

I think it's all in the 60'..Are you spinning off the line? I have a 3800 stall & 3.42's in mine..What was the altitude at the track? I ran in 100* weather & about 4500ft elevation in April & my 60's were 1.79's..at sea level they are at 1.66

Needless to say, I'm very dissapointed. Car seems to run strong, but I thought it'd be stronger than this. I still don't have an LS6 intake or underdrive pulley, but figured I'd do better. Any input would be SERIOUSLY appreciated.
I feel your pain, looks like your not getting the gains from your dollars spent .

Your car put down power on the dyno-
It dynoed 352rwhp on a Mustang dyno
I don't understand why no mph unless you have a few issues, like poor fuel(spark knock pulling timing in the heat) need for maintenance-tune-up,slipping trans from a worn out 3rd gear?

Not trying to paint your car a wreck ,just trying to figure it out .
My stock internal (heavy) 3650 lb SS traps about that ,but i have a totally different stall from a different company too.

Good luck.

I too know what it is like to put cash into mods and get nothing but headaches trying to get the performance out of it .
