I went to the track for the first time
I went to the track for the first time I have SLP loudmouth. no cats, Ported throttle body, Lid, K&N, NO tune, street tires and I ran a 13.8 for the first time, I was nervous and the second time i ran a 13.1. as the night came I rested my car for about 2 hours and I still cant get in the twelves but it was close 13.05. I will get there soon
wow decent times, considering you have the 98 car which supposedly has the worst heads of the lsx based cars and few mods with no tune, you must drive good then, im assuming your car is a m6.
YES It is a m6 I just brought SLP longtubes and once I put them on I will go back to the track to see my results. and also I have a hypertune now i can shift my car at a higher rpm. hoping to get in the 12

98 heads are the same as 99 and most of 2000.
ET doesn't really describe how "strong" the car is, trap speed does. there was a local at the strip this week running 12.60s, he just had a hellacious short time thanks to a BIG stall and sticky tires, and a lid - full weight car.
i would expect that car to trap 109-110 with the mods listed. so 13.05 @ ~109 is very good for an m6 car, which denotes a ~2.0 60' on street tires. NICE DRIVING.
