Launch higher, 1700 rpm is like almost leaving a stoplight. Up that until you cant hook and your times should get progressively better. If you think your motor is tired, read up on Sea-Foam.

What altitude are you running at? Sounds like your bogging it out of the hole, hence your low mph.

Peace,
Josh

I would say get a stall. That will definitely help. We have similar setups and I went from 13.8 to 12.9 after getting a stall, DRs and a tune for the stall. You will love driving your car after you get a stall. It will launch SOOOOO much better. This spring I will have my nitrous all setup and I can't wait to see what happens then at the track.

how about ditch those huge *** 18's in favor of a tire that has a sidewall. dr's or not no sidewall doens't help launching whatsoever, and as previously stated get rear lower control arms and the relocation brackets you won't be sorry about those two purchases ever.

My best trap and E.T. was 12.68 at 115 1.8 60' with a 100 wet shot only mods were the kit and BFG drag radials. dont try to launch the car just put it in drive and smash the gas. Also a good strong burnout would be another great key those nittos need heat!!! also one factor that may be hurting you is the 18s on the car. also are you arming the spay prior to launch or are you hitting it a 3k or do you have a switch??? Also this was on 2.73 rear gears I think you are loosing quite a bit on the launch. Do you know or remember what your bottle pressure was? Lots of factors here that can differ your your driving sucking or the car being weak. PM me if you need any other help.

actually the 98-00 have a slightly bigger cam than the 01-02, but they make up for it with the ls6 intake

Get at least a 3400 stall. You will never regret that purchase and see how your car wakes up. Put a set of long tubes (TSP has good deals on Pacesetter coated LT's with a 3" y pipe) in there to help the car breathe better (sounds better also). Examine your tire issues cause sometimes incorrect pressure, smaller gears, combined with the bottle may not fair well. I ran a 12.72 no spray on a set of Nittos at 26 psi (can go lower if I choose), stock gears and the bolt ons in sig with a 1600 rpm launch and only heating the tires for about 5-7 (instead of about 10 secs) secs. Got a 1.90 60 ft on that launch. Good luck to you on your next run.
Parting words of wisdom--Tune, tune , tune!!!!!!!!!!! Helps to make the mods work better together.

I have a buddy that has a 99 WS6 A4 with stock 3:23 gears, 3000 stall, LT's, 3' exhaust and a 100 shot of TNT that hit an 11.48 on MT ET STREETS. Stock cam, stock heads, stock bottom end, and stock suspension. All motor he hit a 12.30 something. I couldn't believe myself till i saw the video and i believe he is a lot more heavier than you are.

Your 60ft time sucks, I'm getting 1.94 on street tires. Michillin Pilot sports. Sounds like you need to work on the launch.

Even though your running 100 shot kit some kits are rated at the flywheel so you may only be 80hp at the rear wheels. This should drop you .8 of a second.

Get that 60 below 2 seconds and you will hit high 12's.

Do a search on launching the car, I flash mine because of the stall.
Before I had a stall I preloaded the TC as much as I could while holding it hard on the brakes with my left foot.

Look at the tires pressures in the Nitos guys run on here.

Are you using a window switch for your nitrous?

There is nothing wrong with his MPH as I have A4 with 2.73's and my MPH as very close to his. I would expect to hit high 12 and low 12's or even high 11's running Nittos.

As I and others have said it's the 60ft time that's killing the times!

He just needs to work on the launch!
