Default why am i not there yet, scarches head...

this weekend i ran:
2.053 60'
8.689 1/8th @ 83.62
13.322 1/4 @ 105.31

my mods are lid, filter, bellows, ngk plugs, msd wires, pacesetter lt's, ory, hooker cb, tuned with hp tuners. its a a4 with 2.73's but shouldnt the trap be higher and the et a little better. seems like what a stock car should run.

Whats your altitude? You 60' looks good, so i dont understand why your et and traps are so low.

i know the gears and stall, but it should be 2-3 mph faster and at least a tenth or two. dont most long tube cars break in to the 12's with other bolt-ons. i know i ahve the slowest and heaviest model to do it in but i figured it would be better. they make factory freaks, is there such thing as a factory retard?

I got 3:73's, pacesetter longtubes, 3inch dumped exhaust, ported tb, tsp lid, ls6 intake, running a stock 4l60e, with a good dyno tune, and some 104 low 12's easy

your stock 2.73's are killing you, that also why your trap speed is not high. those gears really don't bring the car into the powerband quick enough. go with a stall and 3.73's and watch (.6) tenths drop right off...

yes, i had one. in stock trim it went 14.1 @ 101. i added an ls6 intake, headers, and a lid - car trapped 108-109 all day long @ 3,750 lb raceweight.

added a stall, 373s, udp and tune - car went 110-111 in worse weather.

i don't think this is entirely true. i added 373s and didn't pick up any mph, but dropped .25 off of my ET.

my buddy's 00 b4c car with 135k on it went 13.3s @ 105 all night long in completely bone stock trim. i hated having a car with 1/3 the miles, but almost 1 second ET difference (NOT in my favor..). DA here that night was around 2,800'.

My car ran 13.1s consistantly w/ 2.73 rear-street hankook tires, longtubes, true duals, lid and free mods. This was at Memphis track.

how is the car shifting? The MPH on my car droped from 105-106 to 103's when the trans started to slip. the 2-3 shift just before the finish probably did most of the Trap speed damage. After I got an FLT trans and stall the MPH picked back up to 105-106 as well as solid 12 sec timeslips.. this is with 2.73's, lid, and catback only car too.

FWIW, my car has about the same mods and the same gears and my best is 13.36 @ 105.xx Launched the car off idle, 1000 rpm and 1500 rpm and ran 13.36, 13.37, and 13.38 can't remember what order. The weather was humid that night.
