Another Northeast Goat in the 12's

This was on March 18th after the big snow storm.

Ok now whats the hand shake?

Went to Atco today. Left my house at 6:15 without knowing weather or not the track was open. Found out at 7:30 that it was a go and finished up my 3 hour trek.. I arrived at 9:20 and was one of like 7 cars there so teck was no problem...Both MattGTO and 04m6GTO showed up a little later. Racing started at 10:45ish and I got a total of 8 runs in by three..Could have had more but you know how you show up with a 1/4 tank of gas well I did that and by three I had 15 miles left in the tank(6 by the time I got to the gas station), so my day was done.

There is so much more left on the table with my car right know, I was shifting grandma style all day at 6400RPM which next time will have to be 6800 because my peak HP is not until 6500..Just trying to learn the new clutch, it grabs much easier than the stocker..Traction was an issue early on and then the track changed and I started boging. I have to relearn how to drive..

Ok so now what is it with 112mph if i could dial in that i would be dead on no matter what my 60'. But 112 does mean there is a lot more in this car .

Well that was my day with no traction or a random shot or two with to much traction launch
Fun time but I shure hope low 12's are in my future, just have to learn how to drive.LOL

Went back to the track today and ran a 12.680 woot woot every time I hop to get better

every time out gets better so far 12.514 @ 112.41 w/1.836 60'

I went to Atco again and first run out I got a 12.576 and was thrilled and then a few 12.6's( one time a 12.6 a 104 missing 4th gear woops) Second to last run was the 12.514 and my last run I just tryed to hard and lit the tires up for 200 ft going sidways. Ended up with 7 runs for the day

 

Need title change also ... ran 12.568@111.86 at Red River Speedway.. 04 GTO cammed but need tuning bad.
