Yep, it's in the 12's!
Yep, it's in the 12's! Well, it wasn't the best night at the drag strip in Houston, but I finally have a couple of 12 second time slips. Best time was 12.843@112.98. 60' time was 2.136.
Herein lies the problem of the night: Houston Raceway Park was terrible last friday night. Nobody could get traction. I've run 2.00 60' times on well-worn tires before, but that night I was getting 2.453, 2.260, 2.234, 2.461, and so on. I asked if they had put down VHT, they said they did. I'm not sure if the rain from earlier in the week had made a difference, but after 7 passes, I called it a night. Next time I'll bring some MT Drag radials and try for the low 12's.
