Default 8.28@88mph

New best for the Trans am w/ no Nitrous. I'm pretty sure 8.28@88 in the 1/8th is a 12 sec pass?

what kind of 60ft time? With my 12.97, my 1/8th mile was 8.188@82.66. However, it looks like I was able to get out of the hole better with a 1.709 short time. You probably made up the difference by the end of the track considering how much better your power to weight ratio is.

It was a 2.12 60ft. Street tires FTL. I'm pretty happy with the results. The car sure does run hard on the top end. My 00 Cammed & stalled Z only runs 91 in the 1/8 at 7.50s. I'm almost positive with drag radials its a 7.90-8.0 1/8th mile car.

thanks guys. Making it run this without nitrous makes me wonder what it will do on my 100 shot. Last time I ran nitrous it was trapping 94mph in the 1/8, but had a horrible bog on launch. I figured out the bog w/ my hp tuners and it ran so good. I'm thinking at least 7.30s or 40s on the juice.

60' 1.58
1/8 7.59
mph 88
1/4 12.02
mph 110.79

As you can see by all the differences in these posts, lots of different factors come in to play. It's all in the 60'

you are for sure losing on the top end cause' a 7.5 1/8 is usually a 11.6-11.8 range? but maybe that has something to do with your car being on the sauce?

Those times are about right. True, most 7.5s are high 11s, but they are in the 90+ mph range. Therefore covering ground a little faster after the 1/8. The car is only making right at 300rwhp on motor according to his sig. He's just leaving hard and cutting a good 60' thanks to that big stall.

It's not losing anything on the top end. My 1/8 mile is really strong because I come out of the hole hard.

I ran these back to back. It all depends on 60'. Look at the difference in ET, yet almost same MPH

Just to add to what I was saying about the covering ground quicker with higher 1/8 mile speeds. If you'll look at those slips, the first one has 97.01 mph and it took 4.041 seconds to get from the 1/8 to the 1/4. Second slip had 96.19 mph and took 4.058. Third has 96.94 and took 4.046. Since this is third gear only acceleration, I'd say that it is pretty conclusive evidence to the fact.
