Default Fast 102 on LS2 Results

Finally got my FAST 102 installed on a CAM (VRX5), Headers, UDP, K&N drop in, LS2, 6 speed today. All I can say is I am very very impressed with the gains!

My car has been on 3 different dynos over its life as a cammed car.
(Precision Autosports) 1st 415/396
(Back Street Performance) 2nd 410/39*
(Proxses Tuning) today 390/382

Ran the baseline of 390 on the dyno today, then proceeded to remove the stock intake, and install the FAST 102 (non-ported), with the 92/102 tb adapter, and 57 lb FAST injectors (yes I know they are overkill, but I got them cheap). The car never moved from the rollers. Started the dyno up and Proxses did his magic, same tuner I have always used, and the numbers just kept going up. At the end of the day I ended up with 422/418

Ran on the same dyno, within hours of each other. Installing a FAST 102 and injectors I picked up 32 hp and 35 ft lbs. Even though my peak numbers only jumped a little bit, the proof is that the same dyno the same day showed the improvements. Dynos are just tools, and they read differently, Proxses dyno is a bit stingy. Same tuner, same day, same car, only changed the intake from stock LS2 to FAST 102! I think this should be enough proof for some of you doubters that this intake is beneficial for the LS2!

Needless to say I think this is money well spent. Now I can't wait to get to the track and see if I can get some good results there!

I've never read a post where someone doubted the FAST on a cathedral port head.... Rectangle ports where things get iffy.

LS2 intakes blow, so that makes sense. Unfortunately LS3 gains aren't as spectacular

You probably could of had a lil better results with a 102 TB, awesome results regardless.
Congrats.

on ls1gto there were a lot of doubters on this. Not sure why, but since I have never seen direct before and after results I thought I would share. My first track day got rained out, but now I have 3.91 gears as well, so gains will not be just the FAST.

I believe the 102 tb are overkill for most builds. A 90 mm tb flows a lot more air than one would think. The 102 won't hurt but it is another $500 that could be spent on another upgrade. GM probably would put a larger tb on ls7 if there was free horsepower there.

I gained 14/30 on the 102/102 swap on my h/c LS1 from an LS6 intake. Damn good intake.. Coulda used a better tune though.

I agree the 102 is a better intake. I just do not think the tb adds power. I have the 102 of my ls7 with 90 ls2 tb and I would switch if I believed 102 tb had any benefit...but that is just my opinion.

If you add a vacuum/pressure sensor either side of the 90 or 102TB, at WOT you will note that there is depression/restriction caused by the throttle body in biggish engines ... hence the reason I did the 108mm.
