1999 trans am prodution numbers???
Firebird production for 1999:
Firebird 17,170
Firebird Convertible 1,245
Trans Am 13,108*
Trans Am Convertible 1,494
30th Trans Am 1,065
30th Trans Am Convertible 535
Total Production: 36,219
Formula WS-6 175**
Trans Am WS-6 2,765
Trans Am Convertible SW-6 467
*Between the Formula and the Trans Am, at the time this info was published, only 721 Firehawks were built. A fire at SLP damaged records--my book says more figures were due out later.
**Of these, 20 were the Formula 1LE (WS-6)
I hope this helps you out

This doesn't pertain to your car, but I remember seeing that Pewter Metallic was something like 9% of the 'birds for 2000, and that kind of surprised me.

also are these the stock alum t/a wheels????? http://photos.yahoo.com/chane_1999
the reason i ask is beacause a friend told me they were not the wheels for 99 but newer cars instead
I think the Silver 5-spoke cast aluminum wheels (PA6) (with the twisted spokes as shown in your link) were new for 2000. You could still get the regular Silver 5-spoke aluminum wheels (N60) and the chromed 5-spoke aluminum wheels (P05). I know they were at least offered from 1998-2002 as standard equipment on Firebirds, Formulas and Trans Ams. They were painted white for the 25th Anniversary cars in 1994, so they've been used on the LT1 cars too.
Maybe we've only seen one of the 72% that don't have the memory seat option
