Default 2000 Firebird Production Numbers

Just curious to know, but I wondered if anybody knew the breakdown of 2000 model year Firebirds/Trans Ams. I have seen 2002, 2001, 1999 but no figures on 2000. I've seen Camaro numbers, but the Pontiac numbers have eluded me.

Anybody have a link to the production figures (not Firehawk - no offense, I love 'em, but I don't have one!).

Thanks!!

I havent seen any significant information about 2001 production numbers. All I could find where how many T/As, Formulas, and V6s there were -- nothing more specific. Did you find anything more specific?

High Performance Pontiac:
There were a total of 11,646 Trans AM's made in 2000. 8,421 of them were WS6's. Out Of the 8,421 WS6's, 8,189 of them were WS6 Trans AM's and 232 were WS6 Firebird Formula's.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/special-edition-vehicles/148494-2000-ws6-production-totals.html
ASC:
8,421 WS6s built in the 2000 model year. Unfortunately, due to gaps in the 2000 data, I cannot provide totals by color, roof, or transmission.
RPM WS6 recollections:
A long time ago (may have been on LS1.com before this site even opened) someone posted the break down for 2000 WS6s. I don't know if it came from GM or the old ASC contact we used to use (Andrea Harewood I think it was?). All I remember was that Black was by far the most common, with something like 40-50% being black. Bright Red was second with somewhere between 20-30%.

George W. Scala's "Pontiac Firebird 1967-2000 Photo History" book:
1,602 Formulas were produced for the 2000 model year. In 2000, 175 Formulas received the WS6 package. 20 of these cars also recieved the 1LE option.
dannysbee recollections:
the numbers that I have seen are 232 ws6 formulas but I do not know for certain. ... I would say less than half of the ws6 formulas were hardtops.
Unfortunately, that's all I could find... I haven't seen anything with remotely the kind of detail as is available for the 2002 production: http://www.f-bodyhideout.com/build_c...2_firebird.htm

Thanks. It seems that the refular Trans Am's were more rare than WS6's. Cool!
