i was out of town for a while, so UPS just picked up the wrong wheels about a week ago......just waiting on them to repair/replace them and get them sent back to me.

don't worry, i'll post updates/pics once there is something to post....believe me, the waiting is killing me more than it is anyone else here, especially since my two front tires (that used to be on the rear) are showing cords.....

well, i got my wheels back on thursday and was finally able to get the tires mounted this morning. haven't mounted the wheels on the car yet, due to some other issues i had to deal with this morning, but i'll likely be installing them tomorrow morning once i get off work.

it's gonna be nice to actually have some tread/traction again, not to mention, better-looking wheels.

Nice looking wheel. It has been out a while, but haven't really seen it on any vehicles.

yeah, the pic i posted here is a deeper dish offset than what i have (and what will fit on these cars without modification), and it looks better with the deeper dish, but the ones i have will still look pretty good, IMO.

can't wait to get them on!

Wow those look pretty good for just buying on a whim. I really respect it when people think outside the box and try new things. You took a risk and I feel it paid off. Nice!

thanks....i think Tony was right, that more people need to really visualize what some wheels will look like on their car, instead of making a bunch of posts saying "will these wheels look good on my car?", or "what will these look like on my ride?".

it really doesn't take that much imagination to see how it will look, you just gotta use that gray matter upstairs a little bit.

heh, i just remembered....i got a lesson in just how worn out my old tires were......

when i was installing them yesterday morning, i put the two on the driver's side first, then pulled my car out of my parking spot and backed it in so i could do the passenger's side.....well, when i tried to get the jack under the car, there was so much extra tread on the driver's side now, that the jack couldn't even get under the frame rail on the passenger's side! it was about 1/8" to 3/16" too low to fit the jack under it. i had to jack it up from a mounting point on the k-member, and even then, it just barely fit under it.

after i got all 4 wheels on it, i tried to fit the jack under there again, and it fit with about 3/16" to 1/4" of clearance......

Like these wills. I like to see wheels other than TTII's on fbodies. I've been eyeballing the American Racing Jr Motorsports Killer wheels. I've only seen them on 1 other Camaro locally and it ended up getting stolen after my buddy sold it. Wish I had bought those wheels from him...
