Default fuel injector and nitrous nozzle placement

how big of an impact does fuel injector placement have on atomization? what im trying to ask here is how much would you benefit from moving your injectors up in the runner to allow more time for the fuel to atomize?

would having your nitrous nozzles underneath your plenum spraying up into the runners be any better than just having your nozzles in the runners? or would it just be useful for like a second stage or something?

Their is a article that experimented with that. The higher the injector was in the runner the more power it made. The down side was it idle rougher and at a higher rpm.
