Default please help. crank wheel damaged.

somehow the wheel was damaged.
im going to put a cloth over the tab and pull it back strait with a pair of pliers then sand the burred edge off of the tab, unless someone else has a better suggestion.
is there ANY doubt at all to run this crank?
im not going through assembly and install with this piece if there isnt any certainty.
thanks.

You can pull it back straight. Just work SLOWLY a little at a time. You dont want to stretch the metal. If you bend it back you can insert a screwdriver inbetween the wheels and use that to space it as you tweek it into shape. Not the end of the world having side to side bends. Gets wierd when its out of round. G

i was told by a friend and a tuner of lsx motors that the wheel has to be true in length and in width. im really lost here. im going to end up in the whole big time on this one.

i dont know how it happened, but it was not my doing. clearly it was dropped, or maybe just plopped on a bench and it landed just right on a screwdriver or maybe a drill bit or something. man.
not going to bitch about it, i just want to make it right before i put it in my motor.

after calming down, clearly the wheel can be removed. im going to send it in to eagle and get a new wheel put on for the piece of mind.
