Default Big wiring problem

I've tried to get an anwser on here in the past but I will try it again. I have a 98 camaro with 04 ls6/4l60e combo with cable throttle but my PCM is out of a 00 trans am.(I've been told that it will work with a flash)They guy I bought it from had tried to splice 2 harnesses together. Everything works but looks something out of a scary movie. I've been looking at painless wiring but not for sure Wich one would work for me. Are there any other companies that you guys would suggest other than painless. Also once I get the harness will I have tie it into the Cars chassis wiring? I've read that I can use a stock ls1 wiring harness because the ls1 and ls6 are controlled the same way. Would this be a better choice?Any help would be greatly helpfully.

Thanks alot,
Randy

Get a 99-02 A4 harness. Ls1/Ls6 are the same, problem solved. This is not a topic for Adv. Eng. Tech.

Or re-pin the 1998 to the 1999-02 setup..if it's that way then make sure everything is good.
