Default Intake manifold design.

Could this type of intake work on an LS engine? Are there advantages to seperating the plenum by engine bank?

That is just a beauty cover, the intake is an all plastic manifold that functions the same as a ls intake, single plenum in the middle under the runners

If you want to spend a bunch of money on an intake that will make great power, checkout the Harrop Hurricane....its an 8 throttle body intake, beautiful, and makes power

that wasnt his question. his question was about a bank specific plenum

I would "think" you could get a broader torque and hp curve with two plenums, but if using one throttle body they wouldn't be completely divorced from eachother.... But I'm not an expert on pulse wave theory, hope one will chime in.
