Default VJ on Dart 225 heads??

Hi Guys, the valve guides on my lightly ported and blended Dart 225's need a refresh, so was thinking of taking them up a level.
Will there be much to be gained from a multi angle valve job?
I have matched the Combustion Chamber to my bore size (4.070) and blended the the bowls, aswell as taking the cast flashing back.
I am running 55mm Kinsler ITB's so will match the ports to those while at it, but they actually are not far out.

Cheers Paul.

Dart heads should already have a multi angle VJ. Its possible to gain some Lowlift flow with a valve job, but being dart heads im sure they already have 5 angles on the intake seat and a radius exhaust seat. If thats the case its gonna be alot more difficult to improve them.

Depends on how crappy the valvejob is to begin with...

There's alot more to it than just having the angles there...the angles themselves (not how many, but rather what angle they are cut at each step) makes a big difference! There's a big difference in an all out race valve-job and a street cut. Not just any old machine shop will pick up power by cutting a new valve-job...many can kill power when they do it, same with porting the heads!

Your most definetly right. I just didnt go into all the details. The angles and the width of the angles are crucial and will determine the throat diameter. My point was its not hard to back up in terms of power and airflow if the seats arent cut properly. Ive got experience with a Serdi and a SF600 flowbench as well as a SF901 dyno. I will be the first to tell you that i have backed some good VJ up. I speak from experience.
