Negative effects of negative offset wheels?

Negative effects of negative offset wheels? Like the title says, I was wondering what the effects of negative offset wheels contribute to the mechanical design of an axle,rear end, handling, etc. ie. ~4.75" backspacing.

Would moving the wheel centerline inward or outward equal amount have an the same magnitude of moment? Say +50mm compared to -50mm offset.
The reason I ask is that I had my rear end narrowed 3" per side to run deep dish wheels. Stock the offset is 50mm and after narrowing, I will be running around a -30mm offset. This would equate to a lower moment and reduce loading on the wheel bearing correct?
