Default checking cylinder volume

without removing the head. Is it possible? Matt at TSP believes there is a tool out there that can do this by measuring the air in the cylinder through the spark plug hole. I did some searching and havent found anything on this but I need to check my cylinder volume so I know what bore my block is. Bought the car and it has a 5.3 block that seems to be bored but I dont know how much. Anyone know how to do this? Or where I can get it done in houston?
