Default Solid roller lifters on Hydraulic roller cam?

I know this has been done before. My question is being the cam i just picked up has a billet core, and basically has solid roller lobes on it, How do you figure out where the lash would be set ect for it to be set correctly?

cam i am waiting to arrive is a comp cam with a steel billet cam core. -11 prefix on the cam card. which if read correctly is same core as used on the solid roller cams?

What lobes are they? You may be able to check out the lobe catalog and see what they recommend. It'll probably want somewhere between .018"-.022". You can put it wherever you want though. The tighter the lash, the bigger it'll make the cam. The looser, the smaller it'll make it. Pick a sweet spot and let it ride.

Not sure which lobes it has. Been looking trying to figure it out. Heres the card comp sent me. I could go hydraulic if need be but id feel better with a solid in higher rpm.

Those are solid roller lobes. No sense in running a hydraulic lifter on it. Set them around .020".

Ty sir. Ive been looking up the lobes but couldnt find them but the specs are very close to a friends solid roller. Made me think about it.

also read about the lash being taken into count when grinding a hydraulic roller and lash possibly being set to .006-.012 if that was the case. Wasnt sure on this cam.

Anyone have a recomendation on valve springs for this cam? Thinking of throwing this cam in my 350 inch big bore motor im gathering parts for. Springs need to be good for rpm's up to 9500 rpm.

Reason i ask, I've been looking at springs. Found a set i like but im unsure if the spring pressure will be ok for the rpm limit. These are what i was looking into with titanium valves also. 2.250 intake valves and 1.615 exhaust. 12:7 compression, big bore short stoke combo.
