Default Cooling system set up...

I have a ls swapped turbo foxbody. I bought a griffin radiator, and to get it to fit I had to build a custom core support to fit it in by the turbo.

The issue I'm having is the radiator cap is lower then the top of the water pump by about an inch. To to fix that problem I'm adding a remote tank that feeds in to the top radiator pipe to fill, and also bleed off air.

Now my question is, the little barbed fitting that sticks off the filler neck on the rad, where you would hook up a puke bottle, do I just eliminate that one, and hook a puke tank up to my remote tank?

Sorry for the worst post for a simple question.

I have always used this article as a reference and as I read it the answer would be yes.
