cam timing?

Default cam timing?

Why do some cams have 4 degrees advance ground in? When they do, should I set it 4 retarded to make up for it?

The reason some cams have 4 degrees or 2 degrees advance ground into it is because the guy or company that speced the cam wanted valve timing events that way so don't retard it back to 0.

I have the same 4+ called Comp. it's ground into the cam dot to dot install. It is what it is ..
