Alright guys I need some help here. I don't know which way to go. I have a 94 camaro with a lq9 in it and I'm wonder, should I spend my money on a bore or putting a turbo. And also how much HP would I be putting down on bore and say 8 to 10 psi for boost. Thanks for advice.

Try the Gen IV Internal Engine section. I posted a thread with the same dilemma and got some good input. I chose the 408 w/nitrous (in progress). A well thought out 408 will make 500+ rwhp N/A

You should try doing a search and see the results of different combos that have already been done, then decide what's right for you. What you're asking is the equivalent of asking someone else what your favorite color is. Its personal preference. A convincing argument could be made for either.

 

Do both get a thousand or so

 

Bore will get you to a grand........turbo a little further if you have a ton of timing in it.
