Unhappy 4l60 e with diffrent bellhousings

i got a 4.3L with a 4l60E of m30 and i brought another 4l60e with a full bellhousing i no longer need to bolt the torque converter shield
can i plug an play or is there modifcations that i need to do?

Swap bell housings. Everything else should be the same.

Let me be a little more clear here since all you're doing is trolling.

To the OP,
There are two input shafts and stator tubes for a 4.3 and V8. 298mm and 300mm. You could have either depending on the years of the transmissions. They are easy to differentiate.

The transmission behind the 4.2L engines will not interchange with the V6 or V8 without replacing parts.
