Default No need to grease the bearings (No Grease Gun)

MANY questions about Oil Pressure (not required for a race engine)
So I ask " Who invented the engine oil piump under US Patent ?"
What year ?
My job, as a ride-along, was to grease the engine bearings at the top of the hill at Laguna.

Default No JOKE today (April5)

No, I did not.
My Grandfater, Norman A Nist, was the inventor of an engine oil pump.
TRUE, I did grease the rod/main bearings in a race, a Historic Race with Fangio as the driver.

Uhhh... Scott is right. If you raced with Fangio (1911-95) you ARE showing a bit of age, Lance.
All good, though, you've lived a life that enables some powerful name drops in the automotive realm!
Enjoy the weekend, my friend!

Default A Kings Son

NO, it was my wife's father, Walter Behan. His father was a King in Ireland,
He came to CANADA in 1901, and he built and owned the Canadian National Railroad.
Do you ride the railroad in Canada ?
