Do you ever find that when you are putting something together (like an engine) that the assembly innevitably has some unit that you have no way of measuring. Like "torque bolt to 90 newton-meters..."

Or, someone from Australia tells me they dyno'd 440kw, well what does that mean in HP?

www.google.com will calculate and translate just about anything (well except for that kW to SAE hp example

just do "40 meters in inches" and it gives the answer. pretty cool. You can also use it as a calculator using similar logic as MS Excel.
