Default Carbon Fiber Driveshafts

I am a college student majoring in mechanical engineering. Im currently taking a class in composite materials and have to do a project on some type of composite material. I was considering doing a Carbon Fiber Driveshaft. Im looking for any information you guys might have on Carbon fiber driveshafts, such as how are they made, Fiber orientation angles, arrangements and thickness of layers, power levels they can be used for, infromation about vibrations and information about failure. I was hoping by asking in this forum I could get some specific information about Carbon Fiber Driveshafts in general and not just the ones a few companies produce. If any of you have any information or links to good information please post it here or PM it to me.

Thanks in advance for any help.
Rob

Rob, there is a wholelist of sponsors ------> on the right hand side of this web site, You should be able to find one that has them for sale. Contact the company and see what information they have or can give you. Or find out who makes them through the sponsor and contact them.....

Well I'm sure you have already know the failure depends on the Young's Modulus but I think I remember for Carbon Fiber it is around 21 million psi.
