Default General Engine Dynamics

Does anyone know a website that discusses advanced engine dynamics? I'm looking for a very detailed explanation of how specific engine characteristics effects horsepower and torque, such as lobe seperation, intake runner size, etc. I would like to know more without boring someone with a 100 page thread asking hundreds of questions. Thanks for any help in advance.

Go to Reher-Morrisons web-site, there they sell a two book set for about $100.00, buy them, read them cover to cover...twice. Then you won't need to ask anyone any questions. If you read and comprehend both of those books, you will talk over most peoples heads.

Also you can use one of the computer engine modeling programs and see the difference in results when you change different engine parameters. I have an old version of dynosim, but I think there are better programs available now.
