I'd be very scared to address this crack with jb weld. Especially in my situation since the block is brand new. I want whoever works on it to give a professional diagnosis as to how the crack occured because I don't feel like I should have paid this much money for something brand new and broken.
Helicoil, are you located in california?
With a crack like mine (and I know it's hard to visualize without pics) does a crack like this happen on an iron block from overheating during usage. I know it can't possibly be from handling
but maybe I'm wrong??
