Desmodromic VVA
#1
Why only 100 PS/litter? Desmodromic VVA.
At http://www.pattakon.com has been added, lately, a Desmodromic Fully Variable Valve Actuation (DVVA) system.
It needs not valve springs, neither other restoring springs.
It provides the engine with the desirable combination of valve lift and valve duration.
The space it requires is small and short.
As there is an open thread for NA engines with more than 100 PS/lit, the DVVA can solve the breathing problem as long as the underneath mechanism (crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons and block) can rev highly enough.
Thanks
