Header to x-pipe distance?
Header to x-pipe distance? So, 32.5" length, 1 3/4" od tube is the best header set up for a stock ls6 motor right? Whats the proper distance from the collector to the x-pipe? and is dual 3" exhaust needed for 450rwhp, or will 2.5" work as well and make as much power? Thanks!
I'm guessing this isn't the right forum but as close as possible would probably be best. But, most go for as soon after the tranny so they don't have to drop the exhaust every time they have to drop the tranny. 2.5" duals should be fine for 450rwhp.

How do I determine the minimum exhaust pipe diameter for dual exhausts to support 450 HP?
Give some thought as to how this forum is susposed to be used.
