A friend of mine has offered to build me an aluminum intake manifold for my build.
Are there any deficiencies in the L76 intake? LS7 intake? Haven't decided if I'm building an LS7 or L92 setup yet.
Was thinking about just mimicing the Wilson intake unless anyone has a better idea.

What are your goals? Also, as a rule of thumb, having a buddy build you an intake that would come close to a production or aftermarket piece is a pretty tall order . . . unless your buddy happened to be Keith Wilson or someone similar. Just my opinion.

That Wilson is a nice looking piece, but not really what its cracked up to be. The LS7 plastic flows just about the same as the Wilson.
Not only is runner length important, so is taper. Very hard to do with a sheetmetal home-built.
